Accomplished Counseling Services’ Mental Health Skill Building Program is designed to assist individuals in acquiring, retaining, and improving self-help, socialization, and adaptive skills necessary to reside successfully in home and in community-based settings. They can include training with basic living skills, such as cooking nutritious meals, finances, house cleaning, laundry, and use of appropriate community resources. Training and assistance also may be needed in the areas of personal care, medical appointments, and/or exercising to improve functioning in these areas. These supports are designed to promote independence while allowing each person to accomplish everyday tasks in order that they may live a quality life.

Mobile Crisis Response and Community stabilization is focused on individuals ages 5 or older who are experiencing an acute community of a psychiatric nature that may jeopardize the current living situation. The goals of this service are to prevent hospitalization and establish community stabilization through the use of formulating and implementing safety plans, coordinate care and treatment plans etc.

Accomplished Counseling Services’ Intensive In-Home services provide consistent and structured mental health support to a child who is at risk of being removed from the home. The program provides behavioral intervention assistance to the family in accessing needed services to prevent removal from the home. Service coverage can include linkage to educational services, psychiatric services, psychological services, medical services, social services and/or legal services. Intensive In-Home Services will also include interventions tailored to strengthen the family’s capacity to function effectively. This service is not intended to take the place of outpatient therapy or case management.
