Counseling in Chesapeake and Hampton Roads, Virginia

The house is finally quiet. Your mind is not.

Anxiety, depression, or a life change you did not plan for has a way of showing up after everyone else has gone to bed. Accomplished Counseling Services is a Chesapeake practice for parents and professionals across Hampton Roads who feel stuck and want a therapist who listens.

You will reach an intake specialist, a real person, not a phone tree.

The person this is for

You are the one everyone leans on. Lately it is heavier than it looks.

Maybe it is a loss you did not see coming, a divorce, a move, a new baby, a job that quietly took over your life. Maybe nothing happened at all and you still cannot shake the weight. Parents and professionals across Hampton Roads come to Accomplished Counseling Services carrying exactly this, and most of them waited longer than they needed to.

What they find is a therapist who listens without judgment, explains what to expect before it happens, and has real experience with the specific thing they are facing. Outpatient therapy is where most people begin. When more support helps, medication management, in-home services, and crisis response are under the same roof, in Chesapeake and South Boston. The Bridge to Stability

Who walks through our door

Three kinds of stuck. One place to start.

You do not need the right words for what is wrong. Tell the intake specialist what your week has looked like. That is enough.

  1. The parent running on empty

You are managing everyone else's schedules, moods, and meltdowns, and your own anxiety or low mood has nowhere to go. School counselors and physicians in Hampton Roads regularly send parents to us for exactly this.

  2. The professional who cannot switch off

Capable at work, flat or wired at home. Sleep is off, patience is thin, and the usual fixes stopped working. Therapy gives you a place to think out loud with someone trained to help you find the pattern.

  3. The family in the middle of a change

A separation, a loss, a move, a child in crisis. When the change is bigger than one person, we work with the whole family, including intensive in-home services and mobile crisis response.

How we work at Accomplished Counseling Services

How the first weeks go

One phone call, then a plan you helped write.

  1. Step one

You call, or you send the form

An intake specialist answers, asks a few questions, and matches you with the right clinician and service. If you would rather not call, the short consultation form works the same way.

  2. Step two

    You meet your therapist

The first appointment is a conversation. Together you set a plan that fits your life, your schedule, and what you want to be different.

  3. Step three

You keep going, at your pace

Regular sessions in Chesapeake. Medication management and other services are folded in only when they help, and always in coordination with your therapist.
